Never Gonna Let You Down

I always look up at the gaps between buildings, particularly in towns and cities where the urban landscape has developed over centuries.  The spaces between buildings says a lot about the people and culture of those living in them. This series of paintings is informed by my travels in Europe, exploring how close neighbours are connected - even if only by proximity. This one is based on a street in San Sebastian, Spain.
