From my vantage point in an inner-city high-rise apartment, I have a unique perspective of the terrace houses below. Renovated homes of the affluent share walls and fences with the unrenovated dwellings of their neighbours, co-existing in socio-economic patchwork. This painting is not only a physical viewpoint but a comment on the divisions that separate us and the connections that bind us together.
