The wonderful old industrial buildings of Sydney's Eveleigh Rail Yards remain thanks to ongoing heritage restoration. This end of the beautiful former paint shop building sits between the Carriageworks exhibition space and the site's carpark. I walked past it each day while exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fair and been wanting to paint this scene for a while.
This painting is framed with a Tasmanian oak float frame, hand made by the artist.
