The construction of Sydney’s light rail shut the centre of the inner city and the route through Surry Hills for longer than expected. Once vibrant restaurants and cafes struggled under construction closures, then by the pandemic restrictions not long after the light rail opened. Some iconic businesses survived, but others didn't fare as well.
This painting is framed with a custom Tasmanian oak float frame.
